Under Performing NBA Teams So Far.

  1.             Intro: What’s up Sports fans 2 Buck Chuck is back! The NBA season is underway. Every team is playing to get the best start out of the gate. The best teams are Sacramento, OKC, Boston Celtics, & The Cleveland Cavaliers. However there’s some underperforming teams like the Philadelphia 76sers , & the Milwaukee Bucks. Let’s get into it.

    Philadelphia 76sers:

The Philadelphia 76sers are surprisingly underachieving this. Shockingly after Joel Embid helped The USA Basketball Team win the gold medal game for the 2024 Summer Olympics.

The Sixers are tanking with a bismal 2-10 start for a loosing 14th seed in the eastern conference. As of 11-17-2024. Starting with Joel Embid, started out averaging 16.5 PPG, 1 bpg, & 5.5 rpg. Good NBA numbers but underwhelming for a former NBA MVP still in his prime. Tyrese Maxey is a bright spot for Philly averaging 27.6 PPG, 3.9 apg, & 1.4 spg, very impressive numbers, & the scary thing is he can improve. Maxey suffered a hamstring injury which has him sidelined for two weeks as of 11-07-24. Paul George is a great addition on paper, but isn’t producing what’s expected yet as he’s averaging 16.5 PPG, 5.5 rpg, & a horrible 3.5 turnovers per game. The Sixers need help from the role players

Kyle Lowry, Andre Drummond, & Kelly Oubre Jr. A bright spot for Philly is Rookie Jared McCain out of Duke, who is averaging 14.8ppg, 2.4apg, & .04 spg. Impressive, and in the last 5 games this kid averaged 26.2 PPG on a smoking 48% shooting percentage boosting his ranking of the rookie of the year race.

Nick  Nurse, coach of the 2019 NBA Champions Toronto Raptors. The Sixers are averaging 107.6 %, 115% in offensive, & defensive efficiency.  Maybe Philly ca turn this around. I believe they because it’s early in the season, they have the talent & staff to be a top contender.

    Milwaukee Bucks:

The Milwaukee Bucks started the season out bad that’s why I have them on this list, but @ the time of this writing 11/24/2024, they are 8-9, 6th in Eastern Conference. Let’s see how this play out.

    Conclusion:

The season is still young so it’s hard to tell at this point how things will play out. Let’s just say not too good for Philly fans, but who knows? That’s it for now 2 Buck Chuck signing off. Cha Ching!
