2025 NBA Finals.
. Intro:
It’s that time of the year again, 2 Buck Chuck’s favorite time of the year The NBA Finals. This years 2025 finals features two teams that technically have never won an NBA Championship considering The Thunder came from The Seattle Super Sonics which won a championship in 1979. So sit back, relax, & let’s get into it!
Tyrese Haliburton’s rise:
Tyrese Haliburton was drafted by the Sacramento Kings, & Showcased some potential, but his breakout didn’t come until he went to Indiana. Becoming the NBA most improved player, All Star, & All NBA selection. Now Tyrese is Playing to bring the 1st NBA Championship to The Pacers.
Shai Gilthrist Alexander’s rise:
Can you believe he didn’t even make his high school real earlier in his career. Alexander worked his ass off & was one of the best high school players in Canada. Shai would then go to Kentucky playing one year then being drafted to the NBA by The Los Angeles Clippers. Shai played decent for the Clips before being traded to OKC for Paul George & some other players. OKC got a steal as Shai has become one of the premier players in The NBA. Which includes All NBA , All Star appearances, the 2025 NBA scoring champ, & 2025 NBA MVP. talk about a turn around, which is what Shai wants us to do when he’s wearing one of his crazy fits.
The games:
This has been a great and pretty even NBA Finals. Game 1 Indiana stoled the game after a buzzer beater by Haliburton. Game 2 Oklahoma won convincingly. Game 3 The Pacers won by a large margin, game 4 The Thunder beat the Pacers again. Game 5 OKC’s Williams went off for a career high 40 points the most points scored in this years finals. While Haliburton, & the Pacers were limping into doupt. Shout out to Opi Toppin who was balling in these finals. Game 6 The Pacers got another convincing win. Now on to game 7. Indiana started out strong Tyrese hit like 3 straight 3 pointers to give The Pacers the early lead, then bam, Haliburton went down w an Achilles tendon tear to end his season. “Blessings to that young brother.” The Pacers tried to hold on w out their play maker, & even was up by 3 @ the half, but OKC was too much as they capitalized , & won the franchises 1st ever NBA championship. Shai got MVP honors, & all is great in OKC to end the 2025 season.
Conclusion:
This was a fun NBA Finals to watch, I enjoyed it , so the question remains. Can The Thunder repeat? We shall see. That’s it for 2 Buck Chuck, catch ya on the next one. Cha-Ching$
