It’s yo boy 2 Buck Chuck back in this piece.  The NBA Western. & Eastern Conference Finals was an interesting one. We had mo upsets than the the stomach that consumed 3 Popeyes Chicken sandwiches & spoiled milk. So sit back relax , & let’s get into it.

The rise of a star, & return of a winner!

The Oklahoma City Thunder has been killing it over the last year. The Spurs are up and coming but most would say that the Spurs getting to the western conference finals was them over achieving, like a dork organically pulling a dime piece.  However Wembymama showed how much he improved since being drafted.  Wemby dominated the series,  & helped the spurs upset The Thunder and send his team to The NBA Finals for the first time since 2014.

The New York Knicks have been yearning to win a championship since Walt Clyde Fraiser, & Phil Jackson that’s right the Zin Master himself won two championships with the Knicks in the early 70s.  Lead by Jalen Brunson The Knicks finally made it back to the NBA Finals.

Dominated in college now dominant in the pros.

In 2016 Villanova won a National Championship, led by Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart, & Donte Di Vinenzo. This trio was very dominant at the time. Fast forward in 2022 Jalen Brunson was traded to the Knicks, in 2023 Josh Hart would join the team, & in 2024 Donte Di Vincenzo was traded to Spike Lee’s beloved Knicks.  They thugged it out now ten years later they’re  in the NBA Finals.  Unbelievable story.

Wat’s the Finals going to look like?

It’s an interesting situation to see San Antonio back in the finals. & New York  still being discussed anytime past the 1st round. but the NBA is always revolving.  You never know who’ll be the champions from season to season.   Wemby looks like he can dominate this series,  however Brunson is a beast.
