The NBA Finals
What up peoples?
The NBA Finals was an interesting championship series this year for several reasons. The Spurs returning to the NBA Finals post Tim Duncan, & The Knicks returning to the NBA Finals since 1999. So let’s get into it game by game.
Game#1: New York gets in that azz.
This was the long awaited NBA Finals for The Knicks, & welcome back for The Spurs. The game was a stalemate but New York showed that they’re coming for the goods as they stave off the Spurs 105-95 in San Antonio.
Game#2: Knicks get in that azz again on the road.
The Spurs fans came out to support their squad, give them the energy to win game two and avoid going the New York down 0-2The Knicks barley get the win in another close game 108-104. Now the Knicks are 2 games from the NBA Championship while the Spurs is trying not to get swept on the road.
Game 3: Spurs destroyed The Knicks’ brooms as They shock in The Garden.
There was a lot of pressure on the Knicks going into game 3 & the rowdy crowd at the legendary Madison Square Garden. wanted their beloved Knicks to sweep those horseshoes away however The Spurs were able to sabotage The Knicks’ key home appliances as they beat The Knicks 115-111. Now this series is getting interesting.
Game 4: Knicks make an amazing comeback.
The Spurs wanted to upset the smokin hot Knicks @ The Garden. They started out making that a reality. Going into the 4th quarter The Spurs had the game in their hand with a tight grip. & a huge lead. However this is Jelen Brunson & the Knicks. As The Spurs fell to the Knicks 106-107 the Spurs fans were left scratching their sombreros.
Game 5: The Knicks brings the championship home.
The Spurs were at home once again, but they were in more trouble than a chlid after getting caught playing hooky. This was a close game but Brunson & The Knicks were able to pull out the dub 94-90. Brunson brought home the most valuable player award, & The Knicks brought home the top prize The NBA has to offer. Finally the underdogs are on top!
Can they repeat?
Maybe, maybe not. They have the tools to repeat but some teams have improved such as Miami, & Phllli. OKC will most likely be out for vengeance as well as San Antonio. Looking forward to The 2026-2027 NBA Season. That’s all folks. 2 Buck Chuck is up out of here. Until next time. Cha-Ching!
